Lovely home. Very spacious and clean. Comfy beds and kitchen was very well equipped. A nice quiet road with beautiful views. Hosts were easy to contact and very welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Dear Mrs B, We are a family of eight and we had a very nice stay in your home ( middle July 2026 ). The kitchen had everything we need and the garden was very enjoyable ( BBQ ). Magnificent views and the peace is overwhelming. If you anticipate on the hour schedule, there is a good bus connection with Aviemore. We had enough space to accomodate 8 adults and made numerous hikes in the splendid nature ( woods ; logs ) around. There is a good restaurant and a nice pub/inn not far. Also the post office / village shop is well supplied... We would be happy if you'll have us again when we are in the neighbourhood... Best regards, Werner and family
Have thoroughly enjoyed multiple trips here with friends - the house is comfortable and had everything we needed. The log fire is great on colder nights. Location is ideal - you can walk or bike straight from the door and it's very close to the shop and pub/hotel. Larger range of facilities in Aviemore are only a short drive away.
Owner is responsive to emails for booking/communication and we were provided with helpful information about local facilities.
Great house!
We have just spent a most enjoyable week here. We have stayed in this property many times over the years. It is very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. Also it is situated in a lovely area. We enjoyed cycling on quiet roads and tracks, going for walks, and playing golf. Anderson's restaurant is 5 mins. walk away and there is also a good local shop just round the corner.
What a place! My youngest called it the lodge so that's what I will call it! The lodge had everything we needed plus more. The kids loved having the extra playroom area and the whole lodge was just perfect. It ticked so many boxes! The lodge was so well equipped. The garden is beautiful surrounded by trees and the views are stunning. It's a perfect location and very easy to get everywhere. We love the area and there's so much to do for everyone. My 4 year old got in a mood when we got home because he wanted to be at the lodge! We absolutely want to return!
