Ben Macdui is a comfortable, modern, four bedroomed house in the heart of a Highland village.

It is a detached 2-storey property built into a slope with lovely views from the lounge on the upper level. On the ground floor it has a vestibule, hall, utility room, twin bedroom, shower room and a large second lounge / playroom. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer, pulley, plenty of hooks, a boot rack and heater, so is ideal for drying outdoor clothing.

The staircase leads to a galleried landing and the main living accommodation. There is a good-sized lounge (with wood burning stove) and views to the rolling hills to the north. The kitchen has a breakfast bar and a dining area seating up to 8. Kitchen equipment includes a microwave, a dishwasher and a freezer. There is a master bedroom with en-suite shower-room, two further twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. Three of the bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes. For parties with young children there is a cot, a high chair, a stair gate and a guard for the stove.

The house is double glazed and very well insulated. In addition to the wood burning stove (logs supplied), there are electric heaters throughout. Both showers are electric, providing hot water as required. There is a separate hot water tank with electric immersion heater. There is no extra charge for electricity.

There is a patio door from the kitchen/dining area to the spacious rear garden, which is flat and at the same level as the upper floor of the house. It is mostly grass with some fir and birch trees and a patio area with table and chairs. Occasionally, a red squirrel can be seen in the garden. At the front of the house there is a large gravel area providing off-street parking for 3 or 4 cars.
